How this collection is built

Most houses buy the grill door and the main door separately and end up with two designs that argue with each other in the same frame. A combo is drawn once and cut twice: the safety leaf is cut through so the pattern becomes the ventilation, and the main leaf takes the identical drawing as a relief groove so it reads as one piece when both are shut. The safety leaf is 38mm on a BWP marine-grade core because it is the one that faces weather; the main leaf is 30mm seasoned hardwood behind it.

Do I have to buy both doors together?
That is the point of the range - the two leaves are drawn as a pair and cut from one file. The atelier can quote a single leaf from a combo design, but the matching only works when both are made together.
Which leaf goes on the outside?
The 38mm safety leaf hangs outermost. It is the cut-through one, so it gives airflow and a view out with the main door shut behind it, and its marine-grade core is the part built to take driven rain.
