High-Gloss Acrylic Doors

A 2mm acrylic face on a moisture-resistant core, polished to a mirror gloss. The smallest and most specialised collection — chosen where a door has to match high-gloss wardrobe or kitchen shutter work in the same room.

How this collection is built

Acrylic is not a coating; it is a solid sheet bonded to the substrate and then edge-finished, which is why the reflection stays flat instead of showing the orange-peel you get from a sprayed gloss. It wipes clean, holds colour under direct light far longer than a paint finish, and is the right choice next to gloss modular furniture. The trade-off is that it shows fingerprints more readily than laminate, so it is better on an interior leaf than a handled main door.

Frequently asked questions

Does an acrylic door scratch easily?
The 2mm sheet is harder than a sprayed gloss finish and does not chip at the edge, but any mirror surface will show fine marks under raking light. Clean with a soft cloth rather than a scourer.
Can acrylic be used on a main entrance?
It is not the recommended choice. Acrylic is at its best on interior leaves; for an entrance the 38mm safety build is the one to specify.
